What are your opening hours?

Monday to Friday: 8am till 11am and 3pm till 5pm
Saturday: 9am till 11am – no afternoon
Sunday: 9am till 11am and 2pm till 4pm

Why are you closed between 11am – 3pm?

We have carefully chosen our hours to allow a rest period for our guests in the middle of the day. The entire resort and reception are closed between 11am-3pm. This allows all guests to rest with no disruption. Do our pets have to be fully vaccinated?

Yes. Guests cannot be admitted to our facility unless their vaccinations are current within the last 12 months. Vaccination paperwork must be sited at check in or sent to us prior.

  • DOGS C5 – Vaccination covers Distemper, Hepatitis, Parvovirus, Parainfluenza and Bordatella
  • CATS F3 – Vaccination includes Feline Enteritis and 2 forms of Feline Respiratory Disease

If you have any questions regarding your pets vaccination please contact your veterinarian prior to making a booking as unfortunately unvaccinated pets cannot be accepted.

Do we supply pet food?

Yes we do. We feed dogs and cats Black Hawk Dry Food. A superior premium dog food that provides all the necessary health requirements for a dog.

If your dog has allergies please bring your own food. Portioned and packaged ready for fridge or freezing.

Do we need to bring bedding?

Raised dog beds in each enclosure are supplied. Each pet has freshly laundered blankets as well. Please do not bring your own bedding, blankets or toys. If you feel you need to, please do so at your own risk of getting lost, dirty or marked.

Do all pets sleep internally?

Yes. Our pet boarding facility is safe, all doors are closed and locked for added security. Our underfloor heating for winter and air conditioning for summer ensures a good nights sleep, and our 24/7 onsite owners are not far away.

Do we exercise the pets?

All pets have the opportunity to run and play in the grassed exercise yards.

Do we administer medication?

Yes. A fee applies.

Do we let dogs interact with one another?

We prefer dogs to socialise with others of similar size and temperament, we do not mix sizes and temperaments. It doesn’t take us long to recognise how your dog is interacting with others and we take many factors into consderation before selecting playmates.

Do we accept all breeds of dogs?

Yes, at our discretion.

Do we groom dogs?

No we do not but we do offer a pay per fee service for Hydro baths.

Do we have pet day care?

Yes. Your pet can stay with us for the day. Drop off is between 8-11am and pick up is between 3-5pm. Cost is $20. Pet day stay is not available on weekends or public holidays.

My pet has never been away from home, will he/she be ok?

We recognise that some of our first time guests will be very anxious and nervous when they first arrive. For this reason we make sure that we spend one on one time with them to help ease the separation anxiety, and to make sure they settle as quickly as possible. We find that within the first few hours they are happy and content and its not long before they will become part of our big happy family. We recommend that you make drop off a positive experience and not a sad drawn out process. Also leaving the kids at home or in the car is advisable as your pet will pick up on your and their anxiety or sadness. Kids will miss their little buddy so they don’t realise how they are affecting your pet. A positive, happy and quick drop off is preferable for all involved!
